Let's Talk Lymph

Your lymphatic system is working for you every single day—but when was the last time you thought about supporting it?

We talk a lot about supporting the gut, liver, immune system, and hormones, but there’s another incredible system quietly working behind the scenes: your lymphatic system.

What exactly is the lymphatic system?

Think of your lymphatic system as part of your body’s cleanup, drainage, and immune-support network.

It’s a vast system of lymph vessels, lymph nodes, and organs that works throughout the body to:

  • Help maintain healthy fluid balance

  • Carry lymph fluid throughout the body

  • Filter cellular waste and unwanted material

  • Transport immune cells

  • Support a healthy immune response

  • Work alongside the circulatory and elimination systems

Unlike your cardiovascular system, which has the heart constantly pumping blood, your lymphatic system doesn’t have its own central pump.

That means one of the biggest ways lymph moves is through YOU moving.

And that’s actually pretty empowering, because some of the best ways to support healthy lymphatic flow don't cost a thing.

Simple Ways to Love Your Lymph

MOVE YOUR BODY Walking, stretching, gardening, dancing, riding your bike—movement encourages the natural movement of lymph throughout the body. It doesn't have to be a hard workout. Just move!

REBOUND If you have access to a rebounder or mini trampoline, the gentle bouncing motion is a wonderful way to incorporate whole-body movement. Even a few minutes can get your body moving.

HYDRATE Lymph is largely made up of fluid, so good hydration matters. Sip water throughout the day, eat lots of hydrating fruits, and consider adding herbal teas as another way to increase your fluid intake.

DEEP BREATHE Your diaphragm moves when you take deep breaths, creating pressure changes within the body that help encourage lymphatic movement. Take a few slow, deep belly breaths throughout your day.

DRY BRUSH Gentle dry brushing can support circulation and lymphatic movement while also exfoliating the skin. We carry lymph brushes in the shop if you aren't sure where to start—and we're happy to show you how we use them.

GUA SHA Gentle gua sha techniques can be another beautiful addition to a lymph-support routine, especially around the face and neck. We carry gua sha stones in the shop as well.

And now we've added a couple more herbal tools to the L&H lymphatic toolbox...

Our Cleanse & Clear Lymphatic Support Collection

Our bestselling Cleanse & Clear Tea has already become a favorite for those looking for gentle herbal support for the lymphatic system.

Now you can choose the form that works best for you—or build them into a more complete lymph-support routine:

  • Cleanse & Clear Tea – Slow down, hydrate, and sip your herbs.

  • Lymph Lover Tincture – Concentrated herbal support that's easy to incorporate into your day.

  • Lymph Mist – Topical herbal support to pair with massage, dry brushing, gua sha, or your daily routine.

  • Lymph Brushes – For incorporating dry brushing and gentle lymphatic movement.

  • Gua Sha Stones – Another simple tool for supporting gentle massage and movement.

But remember: the products are the support—not the foundation.

Start with the basics.

Drink your water. Go for the walk. Take some deep breaths. Stretch. Bounce. Dry brush. Get outside and move your body.

Then let the herbs come alongside those practices to offer a little extra support.

That's really what herbalism is about for us—learning how the body works, supporting the systems God designed within us, and using the plants He gave us as tools along the way.

Blessings and wellness,

Angie
